I speak not as someone who has spent his entire adult life doing science, but as a human with critical thinking skills. What we are seeing here is a total and complete abdication of responsibilities of our elected officials.... these morons shouldn't be allowed to be in charge of even an ice cream truck.

the party system prevents individuals from saying what they really feel. i guarantee there are plenty of GOP senators who know and understand the science behind global warming but they cannot say it for fear of their voters/party members. same with dems, i'm sure plenty knew and understood the farce of the whole kavanugh thing but they were simply not allowed to speak up. they had to stay silent because of the party. it's tribalism and it's getting worse.

when you're in the middle and you don't pick sides you can see the massive flaws in both parties.

the left make nazi comparisons of the right but actually if you look at what's going on there are more similarities on the left. especially the rise of the current state of the democratic party. this is no longer the party of Obama. I was actually a big fan of his. I genuinely liked the guy. Every time i heard him speak I felt proud to have him as a president. brilliant speaker. look back through old threads scrum, you will see me arguing with the hillbillers in his defense. i haven't changed, i would still argue in his defense. but the people you have representing your party now are a far cry from what Obama was about.. a very far cry.

American politics now goes by the concept of "you go low i go lower". eventually it will all hit rock bottom with each side equally sure of the others fault.

your so called "centrist news" CNN as you called it a few months back has now resorted to calling a black guy who dares to step away from the group think a "token negro"... no outrage, no outcry. unbelievable level of hypocrisy. guilty of the very thing they accuse the right of being. pure racism at it's core and nobody on the left seems able to acknowledge it.

seriously though, it's the new update to chrome or any browser based on chrome like firefox. hopefully they will fix it with another update.
