Mandy Blank, the bodybuilding icon found dead at her Los Angeles home on Monday, underwent an autopsy Thursday that was inconclusive, a coroner spokeswoman said.
“The autopsy occurred today and a cause of death was deferred,” Sarah Ardalani with the Los Angeles County Coroner said in an email to the Daily News.
Officials are expected to issue a final report after toxicology testing shows what, if anything, was in Blank’s system when she passed away at the age of 42.
Blank was a fitness industry legend crowned World Champion by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness.
Coroner officials previously said Blank was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her residence.
Asked if any foul play was suspected, a source told The News, “not at this time.”
