I'm looking for a SSD laptop. I got a new laptop a few months ago but it has a standard HDD. It's fast but it's held back by the HDD. It's the bottle neck. The core i5 processor and 8 gigs DDR5 memory is so much faster then the HDD itself you can see the laptop just wants to blaze ahead but it's gotta wait for the hard drive to do it's thing. It's plenty fast for a normal user but I'm a pretty heavy user with multiple live tradingview charts moving at the same time, different browser windows etc.. the HDD is constantly writing and reading.

I could just replace the hard drive to an SSD but I'd rather use my current laptop as my home theater PC and get a new one as my daily work horse.

Just bought a Lenovo i5 with 256 ssd 8 gb memory open box marked excellent condition for $377. It’s super fast for what I’m using it for. SSD’s are real cheap now. Most don’t need a ton of local disc space either.

good price. open box always makes me wonder wtf kinda shit the person who opened pulled though. bothers my OCD.
