I just got a H & R ultra 25-06 single shot handed down from my wifes father.

Haven't shot it yet but I seen a kid on youtube hit two milk jugs from 300 yards out with one.

He also gave me a 32 side loader pistol, 22lr and a 32 automatic pistol.
