  • Toronto is Awesome !

I just got back from my trip to Toronto for the Stones/Rush/AC DC concert. There were 475,000 other people there, and it really felt like I was at Woodstock. We were thanked by every single Canadian that found out that we traveled from the States to get there.

Over the next few days we hung out in the city. Everyone was really laid back, polite. The bars really kicked ass. We hung out downtown, and last night we went to Little Italy.

Oh...and the women were fucking awesome. I wanted to take a few home with me but they would not fit in my carry-on :)

They have had a tough time with the SARS stuff. It devistated tourism there. The whole concert was to benefit tourism.

Molson brought 4 million cans of beer and they were all gone by 8 PM

4,000,000 divieded by 475,000 = aprox. 8 each. I'd imaginge that definately wouldn't last long.

He was a bit hung over when he first got home, so I made him take a nap. He wanted to do the nasty but it would have been too much of a quickie as my daughter was only next door for a few minutes and was gonna be home right away. I made him take a nap and I fixed up a good dinner...good healthy carbs for energy and some protein. ;) The food is settling, then it's tuck the kid into bed, shower and play time for us. Damn...I wish he'd have tucked one of those Canadian chicks into his suitcase! :3some: But since he didn't.... :whip: :spank: :smooch:

Stromba said that they had designated beer areas, so when they got there, the downed about 5 and then headed to relax and enjoy the concert. I am so jealous he got to go without me! This is the 2nd time this year he flew out to see Rush and I couldn't go. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

We Canadians can drink beer, by God! Don't come to Canada if you can't embrace the brewski's! Thanks for coming up North and showing the world that SARS isn't really a big problem...all media hype.

The whole disease thing was incredibly overblown. That was the whole point of the concert.

I could never live in a small city. I like to have stores open late, people around, things to do. If some pollution is what you have to put up with to have that, so be it.

Of course to me, Toronto is a small city. I grew up in New York City.

                              Quite true my friend !!

We had a blast in the Beer Store. There were hundreds of beers that we never heard of.

I managed to drink some Stella, some Sleemans Cream Ale, some Upper Canada. And of course the standard "Canadian" and "Blue" :)
