every time i see an advert for Hawaii anywhere the hotels all look like they were built in 1965. why is that? maybe it's just Honolulu but it has this very distinct 1960's architecture look.

Never been to Honolulu, except for a 2 day conference. Go to Maui. Every island is different, but Maui has got it all. Plenty of fancy resorts, depends on where you are looking.

No, that's Kauai. Kauai is really green. If you want undeveloped peace and quiet, that's a good one to go. Maui has more variety.

scrum you been to Paso Robles region? we've now done Napa/Sonoma region a few times we wanna see a different region. i hear Paso Robles is right up there with napa just different. gonna either do Paso Robles or Monterey area next time. Monterey is within day trip range for us. Paso would have to stay over night. thoughts or anywhere else you think i would enjoy? still thinking of renting a cabin for the weekend on lake Tahoe. was thinking of doing it when its 108 in june/july down in the valley where i live and no more then 75 up in Tahoe in the mountains about and hour and a half a way. would be a nice escape from the summer heat. you been?
