I'd like to see them get some info from him, then just gas him. Keeping him alive in jail only leaves the risk for his followers to carry out other plans or for him to somehow escape.

WASHINGTON - President Bush vowed Monday that Saddam Hussein would face trial but stopped short of saying that Iraqis would have complete control over how justice is carried out.

“We will work with the Iraqis to develop a way to try him that will stand international scrutiny,” the president told reporters at a White House news conference two days after the former Iraqi president was captured by U.S. soldiers when he was found in an underground hideout in northern Iraq.

“Iraqis need to be very much involved. ... We will work with the Iraqis to develop a process,” Bush said.
