Bodybuilding Ferderations?

Does anyone here belong to a BB federation? I was thinking someday, before I get to old, I would like to try and enter a competition. Anyone have any suggestions, I live in California in case that matters.

Looks like I can't join because I am not a citizen. I only have my green card. I wonder if I could sign up in canada and then train down here and compete up there.
