took my dog with me today

i just got him dec 8th from an animal shelter. he is a lab. he loves riding in the bed of my truck. we pull up to a 7-11 to get a drink. i park next to another PU truck with a dog in the back they are wagging their tails and just happy to see each other. i walk in. when i come out my dog is in the back of the other truck playing with the other dog. the guy is standing there laughing waiting for me by the door. he said as he was getting in his truck he felt a bump looked back and my dog jumped to his truck
