If you live long enough, and I hope you do, you'll eventually realize that you can never trust anyone 100%. Hell, sometimes is best not to even trust yourself. I'm probably twice the age of most of the wonderful people on this board, so I've had twice as much experience with the assholes of the world, and there are many. I finally realized that I can only trust someone pecentage wise. A truly good friend who I've known many years and has never given any reason to doubt them only rates 75%. Most others rate 10%. Also, I've found out that the longer you know someone, the more likely they'll screw you. I have met people on this board, INTIMID8OR3 for example, who I've only known for a year or so, and I trust him more than people I've known 25 years, mainly because he's real and has no reason to be doubted by me. This is a guy who I've talked to on the phone and exchanged e-mails with but have never met face to face. Honestly, if I had to trust someone with my life he would be right up there with the best people in the world I can trust, who are my sons. I hate to be such a paranoid ass about trust, but living is believing in nobody 100%, it's much safer and much less painful.
