    What no "Born to Run"? Bruce wrote that as the greatest Rock song and is damn close. I do like most of those but need to include some Allman Brothters. No one mentioned "Teen Spirit". Too many to name.

          stairway to heaven, freebird, the end by the doors i definitely agree with then i'd have to throw in a little ozzy changes and momma im comin home and many more ozzy rules....what about theres gotta be some metalica songs in there too like fade to black for whom the bell tolls god i could go on forever pickin out songs i think are classics.....call me a fruitcake i know its not really rock and roll but i think tiny dancer by elton john is up there as one of the most classic songs i know...........chub

            Actually, out of all the songs you mentioned here, I think Tiny Dancer is the best one. The others are just way too overplayed that they have become very monotonous to me. I tend to gravitate to more obscure classics that didn't really make it that big. Kinda makes you feel like you own them all to yourself. :)
