i have came to the conclusion that i am an alcoholic i have a problem and its in my blood to to have this problem i am only 20 years old and its pretty sad that i can't go any where with out drinking a few beers or a shot or two!!! can't have fun with out beer in me nd now i have lost the girl i love because i can't control my temper i didn't touch her but i did show my ass towards a guy friend she was with when were out. she knows i hate him but here we go on staying sober!!!!

Beast, if you can lift then you can stop. Just make it a goal to, no matter what, not touch any alchohol for 6 months.
There is a history of alchoholism in my family, but I never had any problems with bieng addicted. What made me stop was that I get very irritable the day after having any alchohol. I may have one or two drinks every couple of months now, but the irritablility that results reminds me that it wasn't that much fun anyway.
Weed does not affect me in that way... ;)Comment

If you are serious... go to AA or NA. In those rooms you will find a life without the obsession to use drugs or alcohol... you will find a new way of life. Otherwise... the only thing you have to look forward to are jails, institutions, and death.Comment

Yeah that's a good thing you're doing, and listen to pneck, just take it one day at a time. And if you should slip and have a drink don't let that one mistake (relapse) stop you. I know you can do it brutha. The temper thing may have to be controlled by other means then not drinking anymore. Possibly pick up a Anger Managment book. OK I know it sounds funny and you are thinking. "KIR THATS FUCKN STUPID" Yeah bro it is kinda stupid to me also. LOL But I've read through a couple books and they honestly help a bit each time I pick them up and reread a section.
