4th meeting in last 3 weeks. Should be a high intensity affair again.

The Canes cant hit the broadside of a barn let alone a hockey net and the Sabres dont have any scorers left on their team with the exception of Satan.
10 of Canes past 11 have gone under 4.5 total. The only game that went over was vs a weak Pitt defense and it barely did go over 4.5 ending 3-2.
Under 13-3 last 16 at home for Canes
Under is 14-3-2 in last 19 for Canes.
Panthers ML +160
It's always a good to take +160 money on a home team. Florida is finally learning to win at home and is unbeaten in last five(3-0-2) at home. Tonite they get a banged up Leafs team missing their top forwards Reichel and Renberg and a team that finally came back down to earth following it's long streak. Leafs also playing their 3in4 nites. I think it's an excellant spot for the home dog tonite. Nurminen should keep them in this game as well. To quote habsfan "Time to bank on the Panthers"
Montreal has scored only more than 2 goals in only 2 of their last 10 games on the American road ice surface and 15 goals overall for an average of 1.5 goals a game.
Under is 4-0 in Atlanta's last 4 at home.
Hawks ML -110
-This line sure looks fishy to me but I will bite the hook for the cheap price. I think it's a worthwhile bet anytime you can get an opponet at almost even money vs Pitt. This despite the fact that it's the Hawks on a B2B. Almost half of Hawks wins this year however have come in a B2B situation.
Stars ML -115
-Two teams heading in opposite directions. Stars are finally getting the breaks while Philly has suddenly come crashing down to earth big-time. Stars are starting to score goals and continue to get solid goaltending from the under-rated Turco who has almost been good as Brodeur this season. Philly on the other hand has had shoddy goaltending lately. The below quote from Hackett does not give you confidence to bet Philly tonite but reinforces my Stars play.``It's tough right now, it's tough for everybody,'' said Hackett, winless since Dec. 8. ``We're really gripping our sticks tight. I wish I knew the answer.''

-The shark tank has truly lived up to it's nickname of late for the Sharks as they are at a franchise best 9-0-1 in last 10 at home. Tonite the Preds pay a visit and Sharks defeated them last time they came 3-1. Preds playing their 3in4 on the road.
