the NYC skyline.....

i love the NYC skyline... i drove home from visiting a friend in astoria today. the lights are all back on in manhattan.... there's a stretch of the BQE where you're right next to the east river as it wraps around lower manhattan.

it's one of my favorite views of the city... too bad i usually have to pay attention and drive :p

I must say.. it is a very beautiful skyline..

Sana--you should stop at the brooklyn heights prominade, you get a great view of the city from the south--its right across the water from southstreet seaport--its amazing at night

actually - i think that's around the stretch of the BQE that i'm thinking about. right about after atlantic ave and you're looking right at lower manhattan.

sometimes when i drive home to jersey and i take 78, there's also another view of the city from jersey where you see the the statue of liberty and lower manhattan - i just love it.

i have to say... i really do love new york, it sounds so cliche... but there's a reason why new yorkers are so stuck up about their city.

I worked in downtown NYC for 6 years. Puddles worked in the World Trade Center in the 80's

It is now very difficult for me to look at that skyline.

it is weird now without the towers... but as with everything you get used to it.

i have lots of friends who took advantage of the grants for lower manhattan and moved into buildings down there...
