  • Supena's on IP's for P2P now illegal?

My brother was telling me they passed a law that your ISP can no longer be supenaed. It's actually one of my step-brothers and he one of those brainiac types, so I don't see him making it up. But I also can't find anything on the net about it.

its hard enough to narrow down an IP as is, epecially if its coming off an aol addy, or other base host, they switch when you log on

If l look at my IP, it will reference to about 500 others, who logged on through the same port I guess

Yeah, it was on the news recently. I think the arguement against it stands on individual's right to privacy issues. However, those who were already supeonaed (sp?) were NOT grandfathered into this law and still may face prosecution.

Do you know of a site I can read on what exactly happened? So basically people can use Kazaa now without getting busted?
