I can't stand him one bit. And NO WAY should he have his infant sone anywhere near a crocodile. IDIOT!

it was a stupid move, no doubt. that guy does so much for wildlife preservation though...

he fucked uo in a major way - but i think he is a great guy. he just wasn't thinking. i'm not pissed off by it. i think they people that are pissed are the same people that scream, "junior! get over here quick" anytime they see a dog get near their kid. i think he meant well...

Yeah that was a bad move on his part. I don't care how much experience he has with crocs.

I don't agree with what he did at all. However, looking at it a different way...

He lives on the zoo and has since he was a little kid himself. Chances are he knows the limits of the different animals and knows far more than we do as to the animals capabilities. With him living on the zoo, his children will be raised around these animals and will more than likely follow in their father and mothers foot steps.

I in no way think what he did was a good idea, yet I also cannot relate to his situation, his knowledge, or the fact that his back yard has animals far worse than that croc in it. I also believe that if something were to have happened that he would see to it that he was the one bitten and not the baby. While he's being eaten I'm sure someone would have saved the baby. While watching the video on TV, you can see that the baby is being held behind him while he is feeding the croc and that at all times he is watching what the animal is doing and the moves it is making.

It seems like with all the bad publicity that MJ got from holding his baby over the balcony a few months ago, no one else would pull a stupid stunt like that again.

I agree with almost everyone here. I would never let my child anywhere near a crocodile! He is an expert with wild life but needs a few lessons in child care.

In my opinion, its the same as Michael Jackson putting his child in danger by dangling her over the edge of a hotel balcony. Steve needs to keep the Croc's in the cage and his children on the other side of the fence.

I still watch his show though!

I leave the room when his show is turned on here.

Granted the guy knows his animals, but he annoys me. Each to their own.
