Travelling....need a gym in Louisiana on I-10

Anyone know of a gym on real close to Interstate 10 in Lousiana? I need to go to Texas later in the week and can't find anything listed when I do a search. I will be hauling a bi horse trailer & animals so I really don't want to have to go way out of my way.

Hey Cowgirl, I live about 30 mile north of New Orleans in a town called Mandeville which is real close to I-10. There is a gym called Downtown Fitness Center which is right off the Interstate. You take the Mandeville/Covington exit and go North to the first traffic light. You'll need to be in your far left lane so you can make a left at the light onto the service road. Once on the service road, you will see a large area of strip shopping centers on you right. The gym is in the far rear of the shopping area. You can't miss it. It is behind an IHOP and a movie theater. The gym use to be a world gym so it is very nice with good equipment and showers and such.
Just to let you know, the exit is about 30 miles into Louisiana from the La./Miss. line!!
Hope that helps sweety. It's the only one that I know that is right off the interstate and easy to get to and in a fairly rural area that doesn't have alot of traffic. Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles have gyms, but they are quite a distance from I-10 and have traffic out the ass. I think this will be your best bet.

Ooops, I forgot to clarify that at this point, you will be on I-12, which is a by-pass of New Orleans that takes you from Slidell to Baton Rouge, unless you wanted to go through New Orleans, which I don't think you will want to do if you don't need to. It would be a waste of time IMO.

The Gym is about 2 miles off of I-10 as you pass through Lafayette. Exit 103B onto I49 N, then Exit 1 Point Des Moutin, stay on service road for approx. .5 miles then right on Butcher Switch. Small gym, but close to I-10.
