  • great grandmother passes away jus shy of 100

I know that any death is sad, but this was a guess in a sense a blessing, she had been hospitalized for a month prior to this, and so many complications had occured during the time, that we were just watching her waste away, and thats not right for anyone.

We were visiting Sat night around 6pm, we had went to get something to eat, and my aunt had went to the hospital chapel to say prayer for her, in that very short time span, she was gone, its odd how when you pray for the pain to stop, I guess if he truly does exist, he will answer, and she left this earth not alone, but away from our eyes, to ease the pain that lies with this event of nature

When she was 96, her kidnesy failed completly, they never thought the dialyses would help, several days later, somehow her kidneys came back working 100%, doctors were shocked beyond words

She live an outstanding life and did all she could for her children, and grandchildren, and myself and siblings and cousins, her great grand children

To live to that age in this day is a feat in its own, her pain is over, and she may rest in peace for enternity, may God rest her soul

RIP, Gramma, ur a true angel now

Brother, I felt the same way when my great-grandmother passed away.. I might not have dealt with it as you are, but I also know what it's like to have that special someone in the family who looks out for you no matter what.. My great grandmother passed away at the age of 98.. It is a blessing to live that long..

You're right about the angel part, brother.. No Doubt..

I'll keep the DOOM clan in my thoughts and prayers, just hearing about losing family still kinda gets to me..

Doom, although she will be missed, she is no longer suffering. She will continue to live on through all of the people who's lives she touched so deeply. How wonderful to have such warm memories of her. :) Hang in there buddy.
