I like this idea the best. Last year I took my girl to a local spot on Lake Erie and we got a hotel room....a fancy dinner, candles in the hotel and alot of sex. Then the next day we went for a walk on a froze lake....very cool. Best part is she had no idea what we were doing. I just told her to have a bag packed and be ready to go.

This year I have dinner reservations at a very poplular fancy 4-star restaurant, tickets to a very hard to get Lion King musical, and a hotel room booked and she knows none of it, and that's the best part. All she knows is to get dressed up, and we are making a night of it.

Last year I treated my girl to a day at the spa and when she came home i had her bed sprinkled w/ rose petals and some candles and we had sex on the petals... was a cool feeling. Then i took her to dinner... thing is.. i just spent too much damn money, but she was so happy, so it was worth it.

flowers of course, for parfume try elen tracey. not to expensive and every woman will love it. a play or a candlelit bubble bath for two with tons of candles (get them from the $1 store). if you can half assed sing make a demo singing her favorite song. and last. take a nude pix of yourself holding a heart in front of you and attach it to a calander. caption: i've got a heart on for you

ohhh Gator good question :) ....I like fitness-girl's answer, but yea any type of romantic evening with flowers and kisses is something women like. You could be kinky and buy her some lingerie and have a cute valentine's card attached. Or, buy her some jewelry (ring or necklace if it isn't THAT serious)... she might like that.

maybe i'm getting old (46) but anything that implies " we're gonna have sex " is an out of date way to initiate making love. hotel, rose petals etc have screw written all over it. if the evening goes as planned it should be a given. if there is no romance in the form of making out that's cool too. it's her day. it's all about doing something special for her. i like the idea of treating her to the spa bro.
