How do you go down to threads 2 to 3 weeks ago?

Hit the print screen button (normally above the number pad) and then paste it into a program such as paint.

Like Intim said, either go to the forum it was in and scroll to the bottom and go to page 2...3...etc

or like Shibby posted, use the search function, which is helpful if you don't know what forum it's in...or if you know who posted it, or a few key words.
