That guy is an awesome driver. Seriously, it takes some real skill to keep shit under control like he does.

Figure that those first generation air & oil cooled gixxer motors were good for around 125 or 130 hp. That makes for an incredible power to weight ratio.

You can actually buy something similar called a shifter cart (that was probably one in it's former life) with 125 or 250 MX bike motors. They ran them one weekend when I was roadracing bikes and the 125 shifter carts obliterated our lap times. The only place they lost time was on the back straight but I'd be willing to bet the 250 would hang...

i have an 19 yr old cousin who put 500 ninja motor on go cart himself..not a racing go cart like the one theese guys had but one that you buy for a 12 yr old kid or something..the kind with bigger wheels and tires than that one..i drove it and it scared the shit out of me..ive had 2 rice rockest myself gsxr 750s..but when it sits right on ground like that it is fast..would get sideways in every gear no matter how fast you were goin..he still has it..
