One of my all-time favorite bands has broken up.

My boys from PANTERA have parted ways. :(

Phil Enselmo (lead singer) is no longer with the other original band members.

The remaining 3 members: Dimebag (guitar), Vinny (drums), and Rex (bass) have started a new band called "DAMAGE PLAN".

They have a new CD coming out Feb. 10 and will start touring soon in the USA.

Thank you PANTERA for the music that you gave us. It changed my life and will be a part of my life forever.:cool:

yeah Phil's been doing side projects for a while...but Pantera was still "together"....

Pantera was cool, BW!! Phil is from here in new Orleans and I have met him several times in restaurants and other places. Very cool guy!! Kinda quiet, actually. He has a home/studio not too far from where I live up in North Covington which is the town just north of my town here. ;)

Pantera is a great band, but Phil has been focusing on Down for the last few years anyhow. The only thing Pantera has put out recently is a greatest hits type cd. Killer band none the less!
