I think it can work well for most people. Stromba and I were monogamus for about 18 years and verry happy with it. Then a couple of years ago we both agreed that we'd like to try having another woman join us. I've been bi since I was very young but I never acted on it after we got married. And just like any normal guy, who wouldn't enjoy having 2 women in his bed on occasion? Our relationship is solid and built on years of love and trust. So, here we are 2 years later, happier than ever occasionally enjoying some playtime with friends.
I didn't grow up with a normal family life. My father was married before he met my mother but they wound up having an affair which wouldn't end. My father loved two women and his children equally. He never divorced his wife but upon retirement, he moved in with my mother and then only visited his wife. He passed away last June and my mother and his wife are on amicable terms and I've become close to my sister who I hardly even knew until my dad passed away. Before that I was an only child. So...although my father is gone, I now have the sister I always wanted.
Life isn't always black and white. While most people only see monogamy as being the right way to live, other situations can work well too. It's a very individual thing though.
What's happening, VGL? What's not making you happy? -
in the long run it is the only way to go! Single life eventually catches up to you....Comment

poor guy. I'm just noticing a whole lot of hotties that I could have fun with if I were single, and it makes me feel like I got the shackles on. But I guess that's mostly because my boy is away (for 6 months and counting), so monogamy means celibacy. And I have a strong sex drive. In short, the current situation sucks!Comment

VLG i know what your sayin, 6 months is a damn long time to go. evaluate your situation and decide if your relationship is worth waiting for or break up with him. my 2 cents. good luck sweety rough situation i wouldnt wanna be in. hang in there and do whats right for you!Comment

i think it was a good game in the beginning but the parker brothers lost me when they started licensing it out to everyone. I always wanted to be the tin cup or the race car. and everyone plays by different rules; some play together but then start looking out only for themselves. it is a fun game for the first several times you play it but after that it gets rather old and tiresome. always putting up the same hotels in the same spot. and what about the pot of money in the middle; some people decide to share it while others are so jealous of the other person's success, that they dont' put any money in the middle.
