night mode you idiot. so the screen isn't bright in a dark room.

as far as the pics, there should be no limit. the site should auto resize if your pics are too big. let me know if you have any issue.

This is where the page is a dark color with a white or ight colored font, kinda like the old forum. It's less strain on the eyes.

Not a big deal, Bouncer, since I use Tapatalk most of the time, and it has a switch for dark mode.

Also, may be just confirmation bias on my part, but the new software seems faster and more responsive. Is it also hosted on a new server?

it's probably faster software. the last version we were using was 10 years old. lol. update was long past due. we expect traffic to double every 2 months for the next 6 months. this is down to the fact that mobile users can now use the forum easily without the need of an app. google started kicking us in the ass for this at the start of 2019. once they index the site (2-3 days time) there should be a dramatic change to the upside.

server is IBM cloud. we are now a high tech cutting edge ground breaking website.

I don't think it is working right.

I see a "1" badge on the envelope icon, indicating that I have a PM, but when I go into that screen, there isn't any new message showing up.

EDIT: Also, when I go into the PM menu on Tapatalk, the list of old PMs do not show who it is from. Just lists "Unknown." See attached pic.

              Bouncer, one suggestion:

If you click on "New Topics" under Forums, right now, it only shows new UNREAD threads. Once you read a thread, it disappears from that view. Can we switch the behavior so that it just shows all new threads, regardless of whether they have been read or not? It is really inconvenient when you try to come back to something and it disappears and you've got to go searching in the specific forum to find it again.

The old software would continue to show new threads regardless of Read status when you clicked on the New Posts button.

yea same here. working on that.

pm's through chrome on mobile works perfectly . seems to be some compatibility issue. every tiny thing is an issue with upgrades like this. you fix one thing and 7 other things stop working correctly. people don't appreciate just how difficult these things can be.

this is one of those things that is actually a feature. lol. i'm not sure if i can fix that or not bro. this may be one of those things where you were just used to the old way. like when you get a new car that is superior in almost every way but you miss the way your old car did something etc..

okay bro, you may have seen it already but if not this should be a good solution for you.

the box to the far right of this page https://www.superiormuscle.com titled "Latest Topics" should do exactly what you want. The newest posts and threads will always be listed there regardless of if you have already clicked them or not. let me know if that works for you.

still working on a fix for tapatalk pm issue. we believe it may actually because we have the very latest vb software that just came out the other day (latest patch model) and tapatalk may not have released the version to work perfectly with this new version of VB. i have an email in to tapatalk support.

and scrum the "latest activity" button also shows you the latest thread a post has been made in. even if you already clicked it.
