Just read Italy will be hosting them.

By the time 2026 Olympics role around Italy won't have enough money to fund a carnival let alone the Olympics.

From what I understand Rio is now in massive debt because of the past summer Olympics. They over spent and it's cost them serious issues. More so then before the Olympics.

I'd like to see a country acknowledge the current world issues and focus on the spirit of the games instead of trying to out spend the previous country. An anti debt Olympics if you will. Sounds thrilling I get it but we gotta rein this shit in at some point.
