the right masks will absolutely do a lot. look at anyone in a hospital anywhere in the world when the docs are treating the contagious. docs are always wearing masks.

problem is people buying the shitty cheapo type masks that don't fit with a proper seal or the weave isn't tight enough within the fibers.

also tends to keep you from touching your face as much.

It is confusing. I mean when you go to the dentist. The dentist has a mask on to prevent giving you something or vice versu.

Hell I went to the blood bank this morning and you would think with all that blood they have in there; you are require to wear a mask, but Nope. They just have hand sanitizer in every corner on the wall. And big signs say " use hand sanitizer" nothing with mask.

IMO gym is one of the biggest risk, but then again you can get easily sick in the gym with all germs. Doesn't mean imma wear a mask.
