I feel like people aren't understanding something. The $1200 check isn't all there is. There is also an additional $600 per week on top of the normal unemployment. I don't think anyone making these memes get that. That ads up to $2400 a month and that's not including the normal unemployment you still get on top of that. So when you add all that up to the $1200 check and I think you'll find it's actually more then other countries.

No bro that's false. It's $600 per week. $2400 per month ON TOP of your normal unemployment amount. So if your normal unemployment amount is $500 a week you get $1100 per week. $4400 per month.

This additional $600 per week lasts as long as your unemployment benefits last.

THEN there is the 1 time $1200 check on top of all that.
