  • Doing a colon cleanse....

Anyone else done one? The particular one I am doing is the Triple Cleanse from my GNC. (We were checking expiration dates last week and I figured I'd take it before I threw it away) So it comes in 3 stages... prep, flush, and renew.

I just finished with prep yesterday, and even with that I have been on the toilet constantly. My farts smell ungodly. I am pretty much on fire! (You know what I'm talking about). Just took my first flush pills about 5 minutes ago. I am fucking terrified. Oh well, I'll have a clean colon after this!!

his boyfriend hates a stinky pooper?

Seriously though, these things scare me...you're going to have to stay in all weekend. Is there a diet associated with it or is it just a bunch of pills?

I actually try to direct people away from the triple cleanse. ( Not as much comission you see )

As far as why I am doing this. There are a lot of toxins and shit that can build up inside your colon. A lot of extra red meat that doesnt get pushed out. I have read many places that it is very healthy to do a cleanse every once in a while.

I tried this thing for over two weeks that a friend from work talked me into. It was supposedly an all natural cleanse. You took this fiber and 4 pills in the morning. 5 during the day and two more at night with this special tea. I was taking some huge dumps in the morning and also usually some more in the afternoon but I'm not sure that I really benefited. It was supposed to be done for 1 to 3 months though. I was just doing it to offer some support for someone who turned out to not be as good of a friend as I thought so I didn't end up finishing it. I honestly dont think the cleanse is necessary though.

Pretty much what I was getting at. Colon cleansing became a "fad" for awhile, and then they started to stay it wasn't actually beneficial after all.

Why not just slightly increase your fiber intake???

Bouncer is right, you lose bacteria in your small and large intestines that help produce essential vitamins and help digest food.
