  • Stretch Mark Help!

    Okay,

This probably doesn't belong right here so I understand if you move it Bouncer. My bad if that's the case.

    So gang,

I'm easily prone to stretch marks which is complete bullshit. They are nasty looking and it doesn't seem like there is anything I can do about them. I have them on my biceps and one about 1" long on each pectorial muscle.

Is there a way to stop them? Is there a way to lighten them up or preform some preventitive maintenance on them?

    Thanks

any guy that lift weights and has size has stretch marks. i have them on the inside of my biceps, armpits, and lats.

they fade over time. tanning will help cover them up. people also say cocoa butter works.

Ditto on all counts. I think cocoa butter may help prevent them.

cocoa butter or any moisturizer wont make them better juss prevent them from getting worse...there is a product called mederma(cvs has a generic version)which is expensive but did reduce the appearence of stretch marks when used as directed

I have stretch marks all over my body, first started as a fat kid, then lost weight by starving myself like an idiot when i was like 12 and got more due to rapid weight loss. Then many more from lifting and etc etc. I use a vaseline intensive care moisturizer that contains vitamin e and a few others, I've found that if the marks are red they turn more pale and it's much less visible, plus as stated it adds elasticity to your skin to help prevent further. Honestly tho bro, alot of people deal with em and to me it's just a war scar of life's ups and downs.
