Be careful Accutane messes with your head.

So I decided to use accutane to put an end to this acne I have been having, it had subsided greatly over the past couple years, but just wanted to finish it off. It works great for the acne I had ridiculously oily skin for about a week when I started taking it, then I had a monster breakout but now everything is drying up and my skin feels super smooth and healty.

But, this will be the third week taking it and wow this shit is fucking with my head. I am all over the place with my emotions I will be happy one second, then pissed more than I ever had been in my life, then depressed and down like no other. It makes me feel like I am losing my mind. I only have to take it for three months but, wow this stuff really fucks with yah.

Anyone ever have these kinda symptoms on this stuff?

I have a script for it i was suppose to be starting. Not very excited about it, plus i cant run gear for 6-8 months while im on it.

My acne is all gone, it is amazing stuff, but for me it is messing with me right now.

I used it, and I was running gear concurrently. It really can mess with your head, just be careful about suicidal thoughts... as that is a very common side effect. Yes, I was getting monthly blood work done... before anyone says it.

I hear afew guys running it with gear. Thats the reason i havnt started taking it yet, i just dont wanna come off for that long. What where the results of the blood test and what gear did you run with it?

Yeah its know for being a head fuck, I went out with a girl once who had to take roaccutane, not sure if it was that or her but some real mood swings. Some bbs use it pre contrest. So long as you know its the drug and you can come off it any time you can deal with it, also can be a bit liver toxic

During that time, I only was on 500 mg test cyp. Did not want to tax the liver too badly. Blood came back normal, I dont remember the values, but everything checked out.

So you don't believe being on test makes the acutane less effective?

It did not in my case. Accutane works on limiting sebum creation and production. So No I believe that test did not effect the efficacy of the drug.

Did you people have severe acne to get a script of accutane? I generally have decent skin, but i'm trying to prevent the occasional 3-4 huge cysts that i have been getting more frequently. I'm on differin 0.1 cream now. I think i would avoid the accutane because of the suicide thoughts alone...

Yea differin is amazing. Worked great for me

Worked great for me, cleared my back up. No drama's at all apart from some elevated kidney function which returned to normal pretty quick.
