somebody have some past experience with this?

If it's just an oral fixation, try some Snuff. My husband quit with it- he just needs something in his mouth all the time. Can't buy it at your local store- he ordered the mint snuff on the net

I agree with Red, sometimes its an oral fixation issue. Other than that try chewing gum or something.

People have had good success with Chantix, and my sister quit smoking- for awhile- by doing that laser thing on the ear.

There is a kiosk inside a mall near my house that sells something similar to cigarettes, and its the "healthy" alternative. You can smoke it indoors and its smokeless. Its called BLU Electronic Vapor Cigarettes. Its crazy, dude was smoking it indoors and you couldn't see smoke nor smell it

I quit cold , but the girl I was with at the time used Chantix and it seemed to work fine for her - then again, 2 years later she's smokin and I'm good - need to be able try to run :( :(. Hard part is you get so used to that break, be it 15-30 minutes to just chill out and say "fuck it" smoke break.

Give the Jolly rancher a try this time they will last longer than the Werthers orgs and have a stronger flavor

Yea, I dip and chew sometimes. It's more of an oral fixation. Lot of guys I know who end up going to places where they can't dip, quit by chewing gum or just having something in there mouth like toothpicks, candy, etc.

i've often swallowed it. when i'm somewhere it's not appropriate to be chewing, i'll just swallow it. gives me terrible heartburn, but the taste doesn't really bother me that much.

i did pretty good this week actually. just had a shit load of jolly ranchers, which actually worked. props to rocket. i don't consume much sugar at all, so my stomach didn't like all that sugar, but it worked. i also have been sucking on a lot of celery sticks. their perfect. taste good, full of water, no sugar or calories.
i just hope i can stick to it.

dfc or anybody else with a nicotine addiction, how long did the cravings last?
