hey dude just thought id add some quality fluff to your journal lol. i tried rogaine for like almost 2 years and it maintained my hairloss but that shit got expensive. i stopped taking it now. 6 months later all the hair that was being maintained by the minoxidil seemed to just fall out. im looking into some type of hair translplant now. i thought if getting pklugs but then said fuck that! im looking into treatments where they take your own hair form like the back of your ead and plant it in the front and it becomes your own for good. i'll keep ya updated with my findings.

I know the feeling. My hair started receding when I started high school. I started shaving my head in the 10th grade. It cost a lot less (no shampoo, no hair cut, no medication that may not work) and talk about easy. A couple of minutes every few days and I’m done.
Bald is beautiful.
Good luck on your quest.

Day 19
Still shedding pretty bad as expected. Spilled a lot of my minox. last night like a dumbass, so will be ordering more tomorrow. Havent missed an application of minox. or missed a pill of Propecia thus far.
I have stuck to my plan of using Nizoral 1% every 4 days and Polysorbate or selenium based shampoos other days. Scalp seems very dry and itchy, which isnt what I want. Considering dropping the Nizoral.....
On a good note- we went out lastnight and I wore gel in my hair for the first time in 3 months and you really couldnt notice any loss at all, and thats coming from me and Im my biggest critic.

good luck dude, yeah iim thinking of going back on the minoxodil road again. the first 1-2 months SUCK!!!!!! your hair falls out quicker and basically the minoxodil is shedding any weak hair follicles you have out. but around the 5-6 month range, if you were lucky like me, new hair grows from those shedded spots and your hair actually starts to feel more stronger. keep at it man. i still got one bottle left and when i decide to order a new year supply i will start the last bottle i have left anyway.
oh yeah what i did in the beginning month was use hlaf the minoxodil i think they reccomend 1mL around your affected area i used about half cuz i was afraid my hair would all fall out before it had a chance to work.
stay stong man!

Here's a weird story. When I was in college I lived with my ex-girlfriend for over 4 years. During this time my hair was falling out pretty badly. I wasn't ready for it because I was only 19. This happened throughout college. And then about one month after graduation I moved out from her apartment and we broke up. That was four years ago and I am not joking when I say that immediately after I moved out and broke up with her my hairloss stopped and I have virtually grown all of it back. I am 28 now and my hairline has no sign of recession and is thicker and fuller than my 19 year old brother. I know that college was somewhat stressful, but nothing compared to my ex. What a pain in the ass. YJ try to eliminate any stress from your life and just relax. This will create a very good environment for hair regrowth.

Day 23
First off thanks for the comments everyone, you guys are a big help on the mental side of this battle :)
A bit of bad news to report--
I had a friend ask me today if I was under a lot of stress lately, I asked him why and he says it looks like Im missing some hair and hairloss usually comes from stress. What he doesnt know is it also comes from a myriad other things, but I must say, thats the first person to notice my hair thinning and falling out, which has had me down all day.
Still havent missed an application of pill, will report back in a week for my 1 month observations.

Did you do any research on Kerastase (or any other salon products) hair loss products?
I would recommend trying one of them. I studied hairdressing for 2 years before giving it up. I was taught that the "medicated" brands can be really strong if used for long periods of time.
I personally use Kerastase, from the shampoo to the conditioner, treatments etc. I would never use any hair care products bought from the store.
Here is a link to the Kersatase Site, if you would like to read up on what they have to say...

Yellow, I know that you have researched this extensively...just a thought.

Hell no I ain't shaving my head either. Fight the battle man keep it as long as possible. One note to add I looked into some of the things you have mentioned previously. One idea I did not see or I may have missed sorry if I did but I like that Boseley guy on tv. They take the hair from the back of your scalp and transplant it into the place where the hair line is receding. If I had the money for it I would do it but you can get a loan to cover it. Just one more option for you.
