Sometimes when I lean over, I get a weird feeling of pain in my lower back. Almost a shooting pain. It subsides the moment I move. If i make the same movement again, no pain. It doens't happen often, maybe once a week at most. I have had no specific trauma to it. Anyone have any clue before I head to a doctor?

Thanks. I was actually thinking of heading to a physical therpist or kinesiologist to see if I had any issues with my posture that need fixing. So i'll ask them about this as wellOriginally posted by Mr incredible View Posthave a similar thing that is a facet joint issue, only way to know for sure is MRI but your nowhere near needing that, go see a chirpo or phisio and get deep tissue massage and lots of stretching

try taking some flexirol if it gets really badly - just be warned you have some funky dreams on that shit , but its not a narcotic and it really does do the job - i know a shit ton of power lifters that use it , no real attraction to use it for any recreational purpose because it just does its job.

My friend's father is a chiro, so I decided to give him a call. I went in, and he did showed me that my hips were misaligned. YOu could actually see it. He asked if I had fallen at all recently, which I have. Two cracks, I can see my hips straighter and actually feel looser. I think that may have been my problem. Still heading to the doc's to be sure though

Please go back on a schedule to keep your hips that way, dont listen to the "fix your mechanical problem with a chemicle" guys..Originally posted by alwaysgrowing View PostIf you can find a good chiro, go. I wasn't sure if the effects yesterday were psychosomatic. For the first time in a month, I woke up this morning without being tight. Jogging this morning felt great.

What are subluxations?
A subluxation is the result of spinal bones with improper motion or position affecting nerve communications between your brain and your body.
sub = less than | luxation = dislocation
A subluxation is a stress response. Muscles go into spasm. Spinal bones lock up. And adjacent nerves are choked or chafed. This interferes with the control and regulation of your body. This garbles communications between the brain and parts of your body.
[Cell phone]
A dropped cell phone call is irritating. But dropped communications between your brain and your body can seriously impair your health!
Distorted nerve communications can be an underlying cause of many health problems beyond just headaches and back pain. For example. Interfere with nerve impulses going to or from your stomach: stomach problems.
Your nervous system controls every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. These nerve impulses travel through your spine. So having a spine free of vertebral subluxation is essential for optimal health.
Only a chiropractic examination can detect subluxations. And only chiropractic adjustments can reduce their effect to your nervous system, naturally.
Find out if you have subluxations before they become more serious and more difficult to correct.
