  • Sleep Apnea = big guys more vulnerable

With Chulsey Graham dying recently following back surgery and some meds its suspected he died due to sleep apnea.

I've certainly had this before when I was heavier, anyone else?

Sana use to tell me when I used to get fat to bulk that I would snore all the time. Now that I don't get fat I don't snore anymore.

this isn't really snoring bro, this is when you stop breathing momentarily, have you ever woken up because you wern't breathing or noticed that you weren't breathing?

No but the point is higher weight or fat = snoring more or worse.

I didn't know that sleep apnea could kill you

"The immediate effects of central sleep apnea on the body depend on how long the failure to breathe endures. At worst, central sleep apnea may cause sudden death. Short of death, drops in blood oxygen may trigger seizures, even in the absence of epilepsy."

my doc could perform 5 painful surgery's and i would still have to use the machine

I found out i had it from my ole lady she kept telling me id stop breathing at night at first she thought thank god he quit snorring then she realized i wasnt breathing either then id gasp for air so when i went to the doc he said what happens is before you get to REM sleep you wake up just enough to breath so you never get any real sleep also it messes with blood circulation and the amount of oxygen in your blood its pretty heavy shit

                        :tired:

There's no such thing as sleep apnea. All im saying is that the world is full of vengeful wives with soft pillows waiting for their men to drift off to sleep.... feel like you can't breathe at night? That you're suffocating? It's because you are.
