  • Epylepsia and AAS in future

Hello im a natural, 22 years old, i no longer have epylepsia been ok with no meds for 6 years now. My concern is not all the sides that any AAS have but if any kind could make my epylepsia come back. Ive tried to talk to my doc and to be real to me about if i used any and if it would harm me in tearms of bringing my epylepsia back but wouldent give me a straight reply just that its best to not, you dont need it.

I asked too have a blood test since with those meds it could of lowerd my natty T and i wanted a test too see if its range but she told me to not worry for sure its okey and if it did by now it would be in range my T levels.
And last thing she said to not do any thing silly-

Any ideas ? I know you guys are no doctors but just want some info or so.

I would assume he doesn't know for sure either, so he's not giving you a definitive answer. Instead you get the safest answer he can give, which is to stay away.

Epilepsy as you well know is a neurological condition with many triggers, many of which are not well understood. Various endocrinal triggers are implicated including drug abuse. Clearly with AAS use you will be messing with your endocrinal system and will be in uncharted territory. Your neurologist will be your best option for answering this question. I would urge you to not go with bro science on this one, the repercussions of a negative outcome being serious enough.

Thank you Scrumhalf its just as i was thinking that AAS do play with our endocrinal system thats why they told me to keep my eye on stimulants but i take like 4 to 5 coffies a day with 1 or 2 energy drinks and taking off 1 of the 4 o 5 coffees a day and im fine xD, but im sure they were talking about stronger type or maybe not.
Either way AAS is a difrent story so i hope my neurologist can tell me what are the risks not just telling me no dont take it.

I am natty so I have no direct experience with this, so maybe others can give advice on the wisdom or otherwise of disclosing your AAS plans to your doctor.

I do not believe there is a doctor out there that is going to "endorse" AAS with a condition that serious.
