  • Colgate Optic White Toothpaste

Picked this stuff up about a month ago. Needed toothpaste and it's a lot cheaper then the strips so I thought what the hell.

I can definitly say this stuff works. Not quite as good as the strips but much better then basic toothpaste. They claim whiter teeth in 5 days, I'm not sure I noticed any difference after that short a period but definitly after a month.

    Give it a try.

My teeth are whiter then white at this point. Looks like I bleach them. All this whitening shit really does work, not just a gimmick. Just like anything though, you have to be consistent with it. I have taken it one step past just the tooth paste though. The real secret is leaving the strips on for longer then the directions say. Supposed to leave on for 30 min. I leave on all night. lol

Careful. Too much too long will remove your enamel then you will have incredibly sensitive teeth.

You are definitely someone who subscribes to the "if a little bit is good more is better" philosophy.

Go to the dentist and spring for the whitening gel they sell, it is designed to use overnight and it works great. The big expense is the cups which exactly fit your teeth. These make a big difference too.

You can make a cheap mouth wash/teeth whitener with a bottle of peroxide.
            Just dilute with water.

We've discussed this before. It's not even remotely close to the same whitening ability. Different peroxides.

Top teeth are very sensitive actually. Noticed it last night driving home, had the windows open and any time the wind would hit my teeth when I yawned or something it felt like cold ice on my teeth.

Maybe but on the back of the mouth wash one, among other ingredients it just says "hydrogen peroxide".

Yes but the gels and strips that actually do the true whitening are different; regular hydrogen peroxide is not the primary whitener.

Is that going to be with trays or something do
                              with a machine?
