    Love this shit
Anytime I get injured, cramps inflamation etc I pop 5mg before bed and I swear it helps healing by relaxing the area.

I know, don't use too often, and I don't, but still

Yeah every now and then is ok, but let me tell you, that shit is the devil if you take it on a daily basis. My doc had me on that like 10 yrs ago for anxiety and sleep disorder. Took every day for like 3 years, and I got so fucked up in the head it was horrible. Your body starts to need it to function. If I didn't take it I couldn't even be around people or think straight. One of the most miserable experiences of my life getting off that shit. Bad times.

Was on those for 10 yrs. Spent last 3 trying to get off. Last successful attempt was a supervised 18-month taper/cross - converted to Valium (longest half life in benzo family) then tapered down. After a while, they do nothing - I would eat like candy - but you have to keep taking them to keep the terrible physical withdrawals away. I started with .5mg at night to help me 'relax' and sleep - as needed. Seven years later I was taking more than Michael Jackson was - in fact his reported daily regimen was what caused me to get help - I was taking more than he was - but fully functioning no one knew and I wasn't a zombie or anything.

And these were doctor prescribed - same fucking doctor started to panic when I kept needing to up my dosage. When he would hit the limit with Xanax, he would ADD Ativan, then ADDED Klonopin.

Be careful Mr I - those benzos are sneaky addictive shit. No craving, just headaches, stomach pains, and terrible vertigo for me if I cut my dose too much.

        >>--> It took about 60 days for me needing to up my dosage to get the same results as the first time I took them - so begins a slippery slope. Careful.

If you dont abuse them then you shouldnt have any issues.
There has been some studies showing a drastic reduction in
cortisol levels with Diazepam and othe benzos.

A benzo for inflammation? Extremely overkill. Too many adverse effects to even be considered for mild inflammation.
