Gotta look good on the way out, baby! ::thumup:
I'm gonna be wearing my Ray-Bans, TagHeuer, rock revival jeans, and sperrys. Shirtless of course. A look that says sophisticated yet cocky. :thankyou:

Supplements in general are bullshit..primarily because of proprietary blends or undocumented amounts of a product in them. Its all a sham, smoke and mirrors. Controlling the dosage of what supplements you put in your body is paramount in my opinion. I may take twelve pills, but I know exactly whats going where. I do it because I find I function better and get better results then just slamming no-xplode and a protein shake and calling it good.
The article Mr I cited is not really providing any new information-and the study has nothing to do with overall health--it studied the acidity of sports drinks on teeth...the bottom line is that there is no definitive long term study, or short term study showing the harm energy drinks do when consumption is moderate. You pound 4 giant Red Bulls and then go play football bad shit is probably going to happen..stimulants of any kind can be toxic. The study also lists ingredients that taken alone could have negative effects-some documented, some not..some are no brainers such as corn syrup, high dose caffeine, etc. The rest is speculation and innuendo..such as the comment that the majority of people that eat processed foods--which contain phosphates don't live as long. But they don't mention the correlation between fat ass food blisters that in general eat processed foods, and the fact that healthy folks eat whole foods--hence they might live a tad longer because they are healthier in general. the end of the article even states that long term effects are unknown.
Know what you're putting in your body. I drink energy drinks, about one a day..sugar free ones;) But I also read a label and choose accordingly with the rest of what I take. Could they be bad for me? Yes. But they are the villain primarily because people don't want to take responsibility for what they are putting in their bodies. You read a label and you can make an informed choice.
Nothing wrong with overalls haters. :thumb:
