Hair Care Products/Regimen

So I never really paid attention to hair care because I always shaved my head since I was a kid. Was just to god damn cold this winter to do that and I started to like the new look better. Soo, that brings me to this thread. I plan to grow the top about another inch longer from what it is in the pic below.

First and foremost I use nizerol 2% shampoo 3 times per week. I leave it on the scalp for about 10 minutes before I get in the shower. I am 100% certain this has kept the hair on my head. 2 years ago it was really thinning at the front, consistant nizerol use has changed that.

Everyday shampoo/conditioner I use old spice. I really like the smell and feel of the new line. Plus, I mean what better then a shampoo called "swagger" to fit me! It's a shampoo/conditioner combo.

For styling I like Loreal hyper putty. Small amount with a little water goes a long way. Holds however you want and stays for a long time.

What does everyone use? Do the more expensive shampoo's and conditioners differ that much from the basic everyday stuff you can buy at target?

I use Swagger body wash, Pantene 2n1 shampoo/conditioner and Got2B Glued hair gel/glue. I don't think it matters with guys hair unless you have a Timber mullet then you might need some ultra conditioning shit. As long as its clean, soft and smells good.

i was indeed blessed with the nose from both italian and ukrainan side. in my defense though the angle of the pic and the camera so close makes it look worse! thats my story and im sticking to it! :P take a pic of your face with the camera held less then a foot away and you will see! i promise!

Try some tea tree shampoo. Feels amazing on your scalp. Cool and tingly and smells so refreshing.

You probably don't need it. I have considerably more hair so I need something strong that lasts in the Florida humidity. A little putty or pomade is probably perfect for you.

Is putting lotion on your head a bad thing? Like is it bad for the hair? The one downside of the nizerol is that it dries your fucken scalp out. Baby lotion on my head seems to be the only thing that makes it less itchy.

No it won't hurt. I have to use my wife's conditioner after I use the nizoral at night. It doesn't dry my scalp but it does my hair.
