The lesson here is, just because it's prescribed doesn't mean it's safe. Also when it comes to something that makes you drowsy it's a surprisingly fine line between comfortable and completely fucked. I can well see how people get into trouble taking a bath on shit like that.

Now I've stopped most of the shit I feel the opposite, wired

You went and got tramadol after I mentioned it the other day. That's a bit alarming. Stop acting like a dumb bitch.

Biggest issue is keeping the area warm. Any cold drafts = pain

Apart from stretching, what would be the best exercise in helping recovery; x trainer, walk or bike?

I skimmed through parts of it so sorry if I missed something. I had a lot of pain there for a few months or so. Took otc meds and they never really did anything. Got a really firm roller (I think it was blm who suggested it in another thread) and it helped amazingly.

you just have to see this as punishment from god for being a troll. i will speak with him in my prayers tonight after I recite the national anthem.

For me I had to ease into things. A lot of exercise bike and treadmill warm ups, bosa ball squats ( hold each for 5 sec at bottom), light leg extensions and curls (again hold each for 5 seconds). After a few months of this and attacking the inflammation I eased into more weight.

                      Great advice thanks

Only if you've experienced this in chronic form can you know how debilitating it can be

I wish my wife recorded me at my worst trying to get off the couch or off the floor playing with the kids. It was a painful, awkward, multi step process. I honestly thought that I would never be able to function properly again. Really plays with your mind and emotions.

The problem started when I re introduced squats. Experienced freinds would watch and say I squat like a demon with perfect form. I don't know anatomicaly what the issue is but essentially it twists and tilts my pelvis and possibly exposed some old disk damage around L5 it creates a problem that then gets progressively worse leaving incredible tightness in the hip flexors and pelvic tilt. O hear you on the moving around its awful when it's ar it's worst. I would literally have to lean on something or squat down for two minutes in the supermarket just trying to do a food shop.

It's one if those times when you say "never again" and for me that's it in done with free weight squats

Get a bottle of magnesium citrate. Drink entire bottle. Follow with a giant glass of water. STAY HOME!
