I'm asking you if this back issue is different from your leg issue.

Sciatica runs from your back down your leg dummy so it's one in same but my leg and ass pain has diminished considerable it's more the stiff Lower Back now and some pains.

Currently using it either side of my spine on the upper gluteus and erectors to distract sciatic pains, release endorphins etc

What machine do you have? I have a LOT of shoulder/trap issues (muscle) and I wonder if it would help at all.

They were part of my physical therapy. They would apply the contact pads then layer over clay heat pads ( they get incredibly hot and maintain it well). After, they would do ultrasound massage therapy all prior to my exercises and stretches. By the time I hit the stationary bike my piriformis was like a loose rubber band. At the end of my sessions they would do Graston technique followed by ice.

Blm that sounds like a top notch therapy

I used it last night and most of this morning while at work now giving it a rest. Another side note, when I originally got this problem I began smoking as a distraction. I've now read that nicotine even patch or vape causes inflammation and worsens back pain so I stopped immediately. Not a single one today.
