Just run an old school golden age cycle bro. Test, deca, dbol, maybe primo. Those guys are all still kicken no problems.

Something very appealing to me about embracing the golden age style cycles and saying "fuck you!" to the modern shit. :D

I feel really good on Test and Deca. An androgen and an anabolic. Once I'm fully healed I'll add back in low dose dbol (25mgs per day) and up my test to 300mgs E4D and deca to 200mgs E4D alound with low dose (2iu ED GH).

Just test for me bro. Golden era did have casualties though. Mentzer died of heart attack, Arnold had heart surgery, I'm sure there were others I cant remember at the minute.

anything in particular that led to that decision to just use test?

for example. what would the difference be in terms of heart health if you were to use 300mgs of test and 200mgs of deca per week vs 500mgs of test. why not get the benefit and effects of other AAS while still maintaining a healthy lower dose?

I think that low dose test is a safer option. My theory is that test (although synthetic) is a natural occurring hormona. It's also legally prescribed. Quality and availability is also important. When I was in Thailand I was going througnh a bottle of test a week just because I had access to it and it was so cheap. There was also a study I read a few years ago about deca and the heart. From what I remember it claimed that deca had some sort of negative effect on left ventricle hyperdrophy. You would probably find it on google somewhere.

I love orals but they raise blood pressure and cholesterol, triglycerides too much. Forget Tren. I also love EQ but then it thickens the blood quite alot (apparently) and yes I know that test also has this effect to a lessor degree.

I can do one shot a week of test E and my body will change quite a bit and I think I will be happy with that.

Back to the heart thing, yes the doc said the heart was a little enlarged, but my guess is that most of us here who have trained would have the same thing.

Goes to show how we are all different. I had all blood tests and cat scan with contrast, mri, x-ray etc.. while I spent those days in hospital. Keep in mind when I went in I was on test, deca, and dbol at a total of 875mgs per week. My cholesterol was within normal limits, my RBC aka "blood thickness" was within normal limits, and my heart, kidneys, spleen, and adrenal glands were all normal limits with no abnormalities. Keep in mind I've been on shit pretty much since I was 16.

The only things out of whack was my liver values because of the 17-aa dbol but it was within normal size limits with no abnormalities or growths. My CK levels were high but that had nothing directly to do with AAS. That was just me overtraining myself to death under dehydrated conditions. Lol

Now I'm not sure sure if that's just a genetic thing or the fact that I eat oatmeal and fish oil by the tons. (Cholesterol and heart/blood healthy food/supps).

Yup its important to know how your body responds. I think it's largely genetic. Strong history of heart disease in my family with father, both uncles on same side and grandfather all having tripple bypass so there is clearly some beta weakness there.

I'm telling ya though bro, I really think there's something to fish oil on AAS that gives us a much better chance at keeping the blood and heart healthy.

Not really relevent to this, mentzer was addicted to meth, Arnold had pig aorta out in for the same condition his mother had

Its totally relevant when you are talking about heart disease and gear. What killed mentzer? A heart attack. Can you prove it was from meth? His brother also died and had kidney problems. Dave draper had a heart attack. Danny Padilla had a heart attack. Don Ross died of heart attack. All golden era guys.

Can i prove it was meth? What a stupid comment.

He was also chain smoker, it's a horribly ignorant association.

Draper was in his 60s and training way too hard and often, not sure of his diet.

I don't even know who Don Ross is. The golden era on average love way longer than 90s bodybuilders.

Man just look at the death rate of ultra runners

I think we can all agree that if you have any sort of genetic condition or predisposition that steroids certainly will not help you when it comes to heart health.

Then again red, I'm not sure you'd be safe with just test either bro.
