I retrieved my brother from the edge of a field the other day. He messed up his leg but still managed to hobble down a steep hill, through brush and a stream and up another steep hill all while carring a huge tom and his hunting equipment (when he called me I was thinking I was going to have to carry him). I asked if he wanted to go to the VA hospital, two hours away, he said no, just take me to the county hospital. That was a mistake. They looked at him briefly, took an xray and said he looks fine all the while my brother told him his leg does not feel right. The next day my dad took him to the VA hospital and they discovered he fractured his tibia, tore his ACL and ripped some cartilage. The VA said that the county hospital's x-ray was unreadable. Got to love rural hospitals... :retard:
