But because of interpretation and wording a judge has given this bullshit the green light. Say hello to more expensive coffee in California because all labeling will have to be specifically made for California thus driving up cost for state coffee drinkers.

Bouncer, it isn't about "coffee causing cancer". What they have found is that when roasting beans, 'Acrylamide' which is a known carcinogen and it's also what's produced when making French Fries is produced in small amounts. It's due to the high temperatures. Also, it appears to be worse in dark roast vs light/medium roast.

I'm actually OK with this warning. If something is a known carcinogen, and something you are consuming contains it, adding a simple warning does not seem like a bad thing? Nobody is saying you can't consume it, or purchase it, and it isn't taxed higher or anything.... It's just a simple warning label.

There are many many health benefits of coffee, yes, but Acrylamide isn't one of them. (BTW I'm a coffee snob and believe in getting single orgin high quality beans and grinding them myself. I buy my Coffee from Verve Roasters in Santa Cruz. Order it online or grab a few bags when I'm down there. It's the best I've found.)

He needs to smoke some weed and go on a vision quest and chill out. East coast people are the worst. Loud mouthed, angry, pessimistic complainers. I'd never fucking live there for any amount of money. A few of the consultants who work for me commute in from Jersey and NYC every other week and they are the biggest headache for me to deal with.
