  • Recti Split

I don't do sit ups often but the beach weather is approaching so I decided to bring out some abs.

My first set of sit ups I noticed a lump about 5 inch long & 3 inch wide running down the center of my abdomen so the first thing I thought of was a hernia but after more research I discovered its a recti abdominal split which I'm guessing takes surgery to fix.

I've noticed I've felt a little bloated lately which is a result of recti slip.

Not sure if its caused from a hernia.

Anyone else have this to happen?

had to look it up. doesn't sound like it's a serious thing. I've seen it before. sounds like crunches are the worst thing you could do. sounds like most people actually get this from crunches.

did you get it when you were pregnant? :D
