Re: you still look great
First off, I try to not get excited the first 6 months after, which I just hit last week. Both post-pregnancies, i've tried REALLY hard with cardio 2 times a day for 40-60 minutes each time and if it's in the first 6 months, it does nothing. So far I've lost 11 pounds, by eating healthy, no junk food, and working out doing 40 minutes cardio and 20 minutes weights a day. I've been working out about 4 times a week.... I know it's not enough, but with 2 kids and right now we are in the process of moving & packing... it's about all I can do at the moment.Originally posted by dudeski66

I try and eat 5-6 meals a day. High in protein and low carbs and low fats. I try to not ever eat fried foods or junk snacks. I have an enormous sweet tooth, so I keep the dark chocolate under control. If I eat carbs I try to eat more along the lines of natural ones like a baked potato or oatmeal, no breads. I think with after the baby, eating is more key than the working out.
We are actually making the big move this Friday and once we are all settled in, I will be making sure that I am working out 6 days a week! Plus I am over the 6 month hump, so now my body is more ready to let go of the weight. I'll be also uping the cardio from 40 minutes once a day to always doing cardio 2 times a day so it adds up to 60 minutes or more of cardio a day. That really helped me loose the weight the first time. But like I said before 6 months post-pregnancy no matter what I do, my body won't let go of the weight.
I hope this helps. Also watch portions. I try and eat smaller portions. PM me if you want to.
