awesome, I love listening to stories about the construction of pyramids and how these cultures lifted these massive rocks with little more than man power. and the mathematical precision was amazing for the time period.

Yeah like you stone cold i've always been fascinated by the ancient cultures and their traditions. did you know the pyramids are perfectly alined to face the sunrise through a very small window in the middle of the pyramid so that the soul og the pharoh can be touched and at night perfectly alined with venus. you can't appreciate something like this til you have experinced it.
next stop is the great wall of china!

so cool, you know you can just post them all in one thread right? keeps the board neater. just post attacments as replies.

I need to travel more. but I wouldn't feel safe being an american anywhere anymore.

apparently there used to be two gurding sphynxes but one that shoul've been on the left was destroyed by the persians and the surviving one that you see here was shot in the nose by napoleons soldiers just for fun. the pyramids and the sphynx are connected by secret tunnels that have recently been discovered and from the air you can see what are traces of a great city all around this structures and as many of you might know all this structers are right in the center of cairo not in the middle of the desert so is quite funny when you wake up in your hotel room open your window and your view are the pyramids.
