My recent holiday in Italy...

Pompei 2 - Here you can see clay figures made of people from when they excavated this wonderful city. These people were obviously buried underneath when the whole city went under when vesuvius erupted.

Vesuvius 1 - This is inside vesuvius, unfortunately the view of the city from above was spoilt that day by excessive cloud :(

And the next edition, well, I will hopefully be posting some New York pics this christmas and possibly some pics of Cape town SA, Mauritius, Seychelles and India next year sometime.

I am getting out of work now so in about an hour I can have them done. if my wife doesn't lay some task on me when I get home hopefully. LOL

No worries guys, always a pleasure. I have a lot more pics of pompeii, but the pics don't reflect how amazing I found it. I studied about the history of Pompeii as part of my latin course at school, and to finally get to see what all the stories were based around was truely inspiring.... The girl I went with who hadn't studied about the same stuff wasn't as enthusiastic about it.

Nice pictures did you go anywhere else besides Florence. The reason i ask you is that when i went to Italy i also went to Milan, Venice, Rome and Florence as well as Verona. Venice, Rome and Florence was the best. You just brought back wonderful memories.
