  • Peanut Butter Balls

OK, I found a similar recipe to this today and modified it a bit.

    1 cup peanut butter
1 cup Splenda (I had to use sugar)
    1 egg white
3 scoops protein (a little over 1 cup. I used chocolate flavored)

Mix all together. Squeeze into balls (size of sausage balls). Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Done.

Tip, they don't change shape or size while baking so stuff a bunch on one cookie sheet. Great tasting things. Kind of taste like the inside of Reese cups.

Recipe makes about 35 balls. Heres the details using sugar for each ball:

    Calories: 60
    Fat: 4g
    Carbs: 4.2g
    Protein: 3.9

Pretty much a 1:1:1 ratio. I know not for everyone but it helps my sweet tooth a LOT!!!

    Enjoy!

No offense, but your recipe sucks balls. You must have typed something wrong, or left out something, as when you mix all that shit together, the mixture is WAY to powdery and you can't even squeeze it into any type of ball.

All I can tell you is to squeeze harder. I was in doubt at first as well. Squeeze 'em hard and they will hold. Once you bake them and let them cool, they will hold together like a cookie.

          Trust me.

I must apologize, as the wife took over and got it to work. When you say squeeze hard, you aint bullshitin. I was expecting to be able to "roll" them into balls.

Next time I'm gonna cut the sugar down to half a cup..way to much sugar for me. I ate 4 of them and got a sugar high..

I agree with that. I'll probably experiement a lil' too. I haven't been able to eat more than 3 at a time but they definitely fix my sweet tooth!! Once they are cooked, they stay together pretty good.

i just made them with 1/2 cup of splenda and i warmed up the peanutbutter before i mixed them and they stayed together fine. with 1/2 a cup or maybe even 1/4 of splenda they were plenty sweet....
the only thing that crumbled was the last of the batch and it was dry

I tried making these but only used 2 packets of Splenda and found them sweet enough. Definitely a great little treat! You really have to squeeze them but I think heating up the peanut butter a bit would help.
