I've searched through this forum and various other forums but have not exactly found answers to what I am asking.
First off, lets start with my stats... 18, working out for 2 yrs (past year however off/on), 5'6" maybe 5'7" (growth spurt...) and 140,
Well, I have access to a gym now and have been working out for a month, but let's cut the crap, here is my question:
If I eat 4500 Cal's a day, 280 g. Proteins, and a load of carbs (this will all be clean gains by the way!!!), actually the diet I am looking at contains over 400 grams of protein but I will figure that out after I get some answers... Well, if I eat that diet consistently, and reach my goal (180 lb.) would it negatively effect my working out? I plan on working out throughout the entire time of this diet, well, the rest of my life.
Another Q, should I slowly gain weight instead of getting it on ASAP? I've read that the more you've got the more you have to work with... I'm sorry if this post is hard to understand, I'm not good with this whole Internet typing thing.
PD
